Our Senior Adult Ministry meetings at Kiokee Baptist Church are times for worship, fellowship, fun and outreach.

Outreach:   Visit shut-ins at home and sing at nursing homes on the 4th or 5th Tuesday of each month

Bible Study:  Study is led by Wes Gardner and meets at 9:00 a.m. the 1st Tuesday of each month

Monthly Meetings: Monthly meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  After a devotional there are fellowship games, speakers on subjects including tax law changes, pharmacy drugs, crafts, gardening, safety and fraud.  The meetings end with a lunch.

Banquets:  (two yearly and at night)
A holiday banquet which combines Thanksgiving and Christmas
A Valentine banquet in February

Old Camp Meeting:  In May, at Old Kiokee Church, we meet to sing old camp meeting songs, have Bible readings, a devotional speaker and many musicians who share their talents.  The time together concludes with dinner on the grounds.

North Columbia Elementary School Partnership:  Two luncheons are held for all the school staff – before Open House in August and post planning in June.  We make and deliver gift bags for the staff at Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter.  North Columbia Elementary’s school council meets four times a year and refreshments are supplied for their meetings.  There are two every special events held at the school each year and we are asked to help:  Fall Festival in October and the Santa Gift Wrap in December (gifts the students bring in for their family and friends are wrapped for them).  Other ways we are able to help at North Columbia Elementary School  include reading to the students, tutoring, sorting music, or various other tasks the teachers need assistance with.  All of these occasions are means of reaching the community for Christ.
