Hebrews 4:12 tells us that the Word of God is living and active. Our LIFE (Living Instruction for Everyday) Classes are designed to provide practical instruction from the Word of God for those seeking to live lives of obedience and faithfulness between Sundays. These short-term classes will often feature content from noted pastors and Christian authors. Topics include basic instruction in Christian living as well as marriage, parenting, Spiritual Gifts, and finances.
Wednesdays at Kiokee are directly linked to our mission statement, especially loving and reaching people and making disciples of Jesus. This weeknight is designed to encourage you and your kids to more deeply love God.
New Adult LIFE Classes Beginning February 5th:
Kiokee Women’s Ministry will be offering a topical study using the book Lie Women Believe and the Truth that Sets Them Free by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth. In this study, we will look at what God says in His Word and compare common lies we believe to Scripture – lies we might not even recognize as deceptive at first blush. Likes like “I can’t control my emotions”, “I just can’t take it anymore”, or “I have to have a husband to be happy” to name a few. The cost of the book is $10. All women and generations are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Meeting in Room B206
In Luke 24:13-32, Jesus meets two disillusioned disciples on the road to Emmaus after His resurrection. “And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets,” writes Luke, “[Jesus] interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself [how the Messiah had to suffer].”
What scriptures? What things? Our quest is to find what these disciples learned and what so many people (Jews and Gentiles) miss about the Messiah. Part 1 covered Old Testament Messianic passages, taught in October-December 2019. As we begin 2020, Part 2 will now cover how the Jewish feasts, festivals, holidays, and Tabernacle all point to Jesus.
