We invite you to experience a celebration of hope this Easter!
Kiokee Baptist Church is a place full of people seeking to declare the greatness of God as He transforms lives, by loving and reaching people and making disciples of Jesus. The Bible is valued and taught in a practical and challenging way. As you look for a place to go to church this Easter, we invite you to a worshipful experience.

Good Friday Service, April 19th
6:30pm at Old Kiokee
6145 Tubman Road, Appling GA
This is a special tradition of Kiokee’s, having a Worship Service at Old Kiokee, our third meeting place. We will solemnly but gratefully and lovingly take a look at Jesus’ sacrificial death for our sins. We will worship and consider Him, our Lord and Savior who lived a perfect life we could never live, and died a death for us to have new life. We hope you will join us for this special service.
What To Expect At Kiokee
A Widespread Campus – Buildings A, B, C, and D
Building A is where you will find our Children’s Ministry; Building B holds our Preschool Ministry and Adult Sunday School classes; Building C is our Fellowship Hall and Sanctuary, and Building D up on the hill is where our 6th – 12th graders meet. We are four miles north of Exit 183 off of Interstate 20, and we’re passionate about reaching our community with the love and message of Jesus. Whether you’re in Augusta or Grovetown or Lincolnton or Aiken, SC.. whether you are a lifetime follower of Christ or seeking answers.. you are welcome here.
What Should I Wear?
At Kiokee, everyone is welcome to come just as they are. You will see a wide variety of clothing choices, from jeans and tennis shoes to dresses and ties. We encourage you to come the way that you feel most comfortable.
Children
At Kiokee, we love children and believe there is great value found in declaring God’s greatness to the next generation. We look forward to meeting you and serving your family! First time guests who have a child from birth – 5th grade will want to park near Buildings A & B (see our campus map) and visit the Welcome Center located on the lower floor of Building B. A Preschool or Children’s Facilitator will greet you and assist you with check in. During check in time, please make sure to let us know any helpful information that will ensure you and your child have a great first time experience at our church. Once you’re checked in, you will be escorted to your child’s classroom and introduced to their leaders. Questions about a first time visit? Email Sherry Matherly, Director of Children’s Ministry at sherry@kiokee.org.

What Will Easter At Kiokee Look Like?
When you walk in you’ll be greeted by a friendly face. Our 8:30am is a more traditional service, including our Sanctuary Choir. Our 11:00am is more contemporary, including a praise band and more modern music.
What is Old Kiokee?
Old Kiokee was our third meeting place, built in 1808. We still hold a variety of services there, like our annual Baptism. On Good Friday, we will meet inside the building, and at our 7:00am Sunrise Service will be held Easter morning behind the building in what we refer to as the ‘amphitheater.’
