A Lot Has Changed. One Thing Hasn’t.

Major League Baseball just kicked off a new season. Decked out in their navy away jerseys, the Bravos took on the Mets at Citi Field in baseball’s much anticipated return. Aces were on the mound, superstars were in the lineup, flags were waving…

Much Ado About Nothing

One of the reasons we love the beach is because it’s a perfect place to do nothing. To decompress, chill, relax. But I’m amazed at all we have to do (which is A LOT) in order to do nothing. Here’s a glimpse at what’s about…

Two Ways to Spot a Fool

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, you’re a mile away from them and you have their shoes. – Jack Handey. Handey’s advice is ingenious because it looks noble on the surface, keeping hidden the true motive…

We look forward to worshiping with you on Sunday at 8 and 9:15am at the Pavilion and 10:30am in the Sanctuary! What You Need To Know For the 10:30am Service in the Sanctuary Maintain Social Distancing (at least 6 feet) Enter from the main front doors. Please follow instructions from the greeters and ushers. Although it was designed to help students run experiments, test theories, and understand the scientific method, the only thing the science fair for me was combine two of my great…

Preservation 101

Rather than asking God solely for protection or for help, he asks for preservation. “Preserve me, O God.” That is a profound request. Preserve me. Keep me from going rotten. Keep me from becoming stale. Keep me from hardening. Keep me from this threat AND from being tainted by it.

The Family + The Church Working Together: Family Worship Sundays

The two greatest influences in a child’s life are the Family + the Church.

Thoughts from Jeff about Leadership and Personal Growth

As we look down through history to the present day, there have been a lot of great leaders, but one stands out. Jesus was the ultimate leader.

The Masked Singer

Well, coming soon to a Sunday near you, the Phantom will no longer be the only singer wearing a mask. As churches begin the process of reopening, scores of Christ followers will gather with veiled faces to resume the practice of corporate worship. We’ll be doing that at Kiokee, as well. Preparations will be made…
